Bord Gáis Éireann is seeking applications from suitably experienced contractors to construct a natural gas pipeline from Coolock to East Wall in the north east of Dublin City for the networks business of Bord Gáis Éireann. The pipeline length totals approximately 9.5km with a diameter of 300mm. The pipeline will be located in an urban environment. The scope of work will involve all activities associated with the construction of a Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline and Associated Installations, at up to 19 bar pressure.

A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent to cwhite@bge.ie. The questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of the candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17.00 hrs Wednesday 30.11.2011. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list as set out in more detail in the pre qualification questionnaire. This process may also include interviews with candidates. The contracting entity will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers relating to this contract award procedure.
