DAA wishes to put in a place a framework agreement to partner with professional, reputable and delivery oriented employment agencies to ensure that the right people are selected to work with the DAA, with due regard to project timelines and budgets. Administration implications.
Applicants to airport based work are required to complete 2 forms as part of the security clearance and Garda vetting process and to complete basic security awareness training, which is provided by DAA for DAA staff. There are additional requirements for people who have lived / worked / travelled abroad. The advised timeframe for processing of Garda Vetting forms is up to 12 weeks although in practice these forms are often cleared within 4 weeks. The appointed vendor will be required to ensure that all such forms are completed with 100 % accuracy by the job applicant and in accordance with guidelines available.
