An Post National Lottery Company (The National Lottery) is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Ministerโ€™s behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986, with the sole focus is raised money for good causes around Ireland. The National Lottery provide world-class, exciting and engaging lottery games such as Lotto, EuroMillions and Scratch Cards. Since the National Lottery was launched, over 3.6 billion euros has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation, Amenities, Health, Welfare, Arts, Culture, National Heritage and the Irish Language.
The company are seeking to appoint advertising consultants in 2012. The contract will be for a period of 3 years (commencing 1.1.2012) with an option to extend for a future two 1 year extensions. Please note that all contractual arrangements will be subject to the National Lottery Licence. The present licence expires on 31.12.2011.
Over the contract period, the National Lottery will have an estimated spend of approx 18 000 000 EUR.
The appointed agency will have to be required to provide Creative advertising and marketing services across a wide range of both offline and online channels for the portfolio of products that the National Lottery offers. Such as (but not limited to): Lotto, EuroMillions, Scratch Cards, Monday Million, Millionaire Raffle, TV Game Shows, Sponsorships, Beneficiary advertising and Online games.
