Conditions for participation
Suitability to pursue the professional activity:

(1) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that they are not bankrupt or the subject of an administration order, are not being wound-up, have not granted a trust deed, are not the subject of a petition presented for sequestration of their estate, have not had a receiver, manager or administrator appointed and are not otherwise apparently insolvent.

Statement that the supplier is not exccluded from participation in the contract, as provided for in Article 20 of Directive 93/36/EEC.

Economic and financial standing:

(1) All candidates will be required to provide a statement, covering the 3 previous financial years including the overall turnover of the candidate and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject matter of this notice.

Certification that the goods meet the requisite standards and specifications set out in the tender documents and Standard (I.S.) EN1729.

Technical and professional ability:

(1) A statement of the principal goods sold or services provided by the supplier or the services provider in the past 3 years, detailing the dates on which the goods were sold or the services provided; the consideration received; the identity of the schools or persons to whom the goods were sold or the services were provided;

(2) Where goods or machinery may require servicing or mechanical maintenance a statement of the technicians or technical services available to the candidate to carry out the work under the contract or other arrangements in place;

(3) A check may be carried out by the contracting authority or by a competent official body of the State in which the candidate is established, to verify the technical capacity of the candidate; and if relevant, on the candidate’s quality control measures;

(4) Documentation of sufficient detail to confirm compliance with the technical specification;

(5) The tender is for the supply, deliver, and as appropriate the installation, commissioning and provision of warranty as appropriate of furniture and equipment.

— Tenders must be returned using the attached pdf lists/lots only; any variation from the attached list will result in immediate disqualification,

— Specifications and quantities must exactly match the tender (attached documents). It is essential that all items tendered exactly match the specification and quantities listed,

— Tenders must be returned in hard copy only, sealed and marked "strictly private and confidential tender" and sent for the attention of Mary Ryan.

Insurance for items remains the responsibility of the supplier until the relevant item is received by and signed for by the school on school premises and from when installed/commissioned to specified standards in the school.

— The Contracting Authority does not accept any liability for any expenses incurred by suppliers in the preparation of tenders, portfolios, or attendance at any meetings or demonstrations,

— Warranties applies from date of commission of equipment and where commissioning does not apply from signed received date for all other items,

— Warranty refers to a 36 month warranty which involves a service 12 months after deliver at no extra charge.

"Tenderers should note that the goods required pursuant to this competition are set out in lots. Each lot will be evaluated separately based on lowest price submitted. Tenderers may submit tenders for one or more of the lots. However for each individual lot tenderers must be able to supply every item on the specification list and must provide the relevant price. Lists that are not completed in full will be eliminated. Note that some lists contain more than one section; in such cases the Lot comprises all sections".
