Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail in Conjunction with Translink

Iarnrรณd Eireann Services.
Iarnrรณd Eireann invites qualified companies to express interest in being invited to tender for the provision of catering on-board its rail services. The period of this contract will be for 3-5 years commencing on the completion of its current contract in March 2012. This invitation applies to all services operated by Iarnrรณd Eireann in the Republic of Ireland.
Enterprise Services.
Further, in conjunction with Translink, its partner for the operation of Enterprise (Belfast/Dublin) services it also invites qualified companies to express interest in being invited to tender for the provision of catering on-board these services. The period of this contract will be for 3-5 years commencing on the completion of its current contract in January 2012.

โ€” Enterprise Requirements only,
โ€” Both Enterprise and Irish Rail combined requirements.
Application Process.
Parties interested in being considered for possible contract award(s) for the fulfilment of either or combined requirements are asked to complete the attached questionnaire as part of the prequalification process.
It must be noted that Iarnrod Eireann/Translink shall take account of the need to ensure adequate competition in determining the number of contractors selected to tender for or to negotiate the contract.
The evaluation will result in the five highest scoring applicants being short listed for the next stage of the procurement. In the event that the scores are tied at 5th position (they are mathematically equal) the Authority reserve the right to extend the shortlist to the requisite number.
Qualifying parties will then be issued with tender documents giving them the opportunity to present their proposed methodology and commercial offer to both Translink and Iarnrรณd Eireann where relevant.
This tender process will be evaluated using The Most Economically Advantageous Tender criteria. Award Criteria will be available at tender issue stage. This contract may be awarded to one or more companies.
