Quantity or scope: The services required under the single party framework agreement for Lot 2 are:โ daily maintenance and repair/service of existing โnittan evolutionโ fire detection and system,โ daily management, maintenance and repair/service of the emergency urs (university reporting system),โ supervision of installations (but not the installation works),โ full responsibility to source and store all parts and spares necessary for the maintenance and repairs of the system,โ provision of on-site qualified personnel on a daily basis,โ the safe and legal removal of devices/low level radiation sources, both under the ownership of nuig and 3rd party. it is required that the disposal, including reporting of devices, will be carried out in accordance with the rules of the rpii (radiological protection institute of ireland), which require certified disposal and will be monitored by nuig,โ this service will include the following as required:โ supply of equipment,โ commissioning of systems,โ minor works installations / modifications less than 5k in value,โ responsibility for the maintenance of a full spares inventory,โ emergency works, including 24/7 cover, for unforeseen works the result of external influences i.e contaminations, flooding, environmental, etc. these works require immediate priority action to allow safe use of facilities.

A grouping, if successful, may be required to contract as a single entity having joint and several liability but subject to the agreement of the contracting parties. If it is proposed to sub-contract the delivery of any portion of any of the initial contracts or any subsequent contract under the frameworks, it may be a condition of award of contract that both the service provider and any proposed sub-contractor enter simultaneously into a collateral warranty with the contracting authority for the relevant portion of that contract.

Information about review deadlines:
The contracting authority will not conclude either of the framework agreements (and the reviewable public contracts) to which a standstill period applies in accordance with Irish Statutory Instrument SI 130 of 2010, until after the expiry of the standstill period which commences on the day following the date of notification of concerned candidates and tenderers under each Lot. The duration of the standstill period will be 14 calendar days where notifications are sent electronically or by fax and 16 calendar days where these are sent by any other means. The Statutory Instrument mentioned above provides that review procedures are available in the High Court to a person who has or has had an interest in obtaining a framework agreement (including the reviewable public contract) and alleges that he or she has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed by an infringement of the law in relation to that framework agreement and reviewable public contract.
