Multiple Frameworks for Laboratory Equipment - ITT Dublin
Institute of Technology Tallaght
The Centre of Applied Science for Health is a research partnership between researchers at ITT Dublin, NUI Maynooth, Dublin City University, and the Adelaide & Meath Hospitals Incorporating the National Children’s Hospital (AMNCH) and builds upon long standing and fruitful collaborations between the partner institutions in the areas of bioscience and chemistry.
The Centre received its primary funding under the Programme for Research in Third level Institutions (PRTLI) Cycle 4 with an award of 10 600 000 EUR. Included in this figure, was an allocation of 6 050 000 EUR for the construction and equipping of a new modern research facility at the ITT Dublin campus.
The new research laboratory facility now under construction at ITT Dublin and due for completion in March/April 2012 will provide modern new laboratories to support the various interdisciplinary research efforts outlined below. Thus, there will be laboratories supporting biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, microbiology, chemical synthesis, sensor technologies and biomechanical engineering.
ITT wishes to establish various framework agreements for the supply of laboratory equipment. The Authority’s requirements have been divided into a number of lots as follows:
Lot A - Single Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – General Research Equipment; Lot B - Single Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – Biology Research Laboratory.
Equipment; Lot C - Single Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – Chemistry Research Equipment; Lot D - Multi Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – Advanced Chemical-Biology Research Equipment; Lot E - Single Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment –Spectroscopic Equipment for Laboratory Research; Lot F - Single-Party Framework Agreement for The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – General Research Laboratory Glassware; Lot G - Single Party Framework Agreement - The Supply of Laboratory Equipment – Ultrapure Water (Type 1) Laboratory Generators.
