Food Safety Authority of Ireland

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) was established under the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act, 1998.
FSAI proposes to engage in a competitive process in order to establish two (2) multi-operator (minimum 3 parties) framework agreements for use by itself and a number of other agencies as described in this notice and the qualification questionnaire, as follows:
Lot 1 - design services (printed material) framework.
Lot 2 - print services framework.
Interested parties may apply for one or both lots.
The duration of the framework agreements will be for 4 years. For the avoidance of doubt, the period for delivery of any subsequent contracts entered into under the framework may extend beyond the date of expiry of the framework. To be considered interested parties must complete and return the qualification questionnaire available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie.

In all such cases it should be understood that such indications are to be treated strictly and solely for reference purposes only, to which the words "or equivalent" will always be appended. 8) Operation of the frameworks: The mechanism for award of contracts under the framework will be described in detail in the tender documentation. Contracts may be awarded on foot of original tenders using the cascade method where appropriate or by mini-tender between all of the framework members. At its absolute discretion, the contracting authority may elect to terminate this procurement process, the framework agreements or any contract awarded under the framework agreements at any time. 9) Without prejudice to the principle of equal treatment, the contracting authority is not obliged to engage in a clarification process in respect of questionnaires with missing or incomplete information.
