An Post National Lottery Company

An Post National Lottery Company (The National Lottery) is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Ministerโ€™s behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986, with the sole focus on raising money for good causes around Ireland. The National Lottery provide world-class, exciting and engaging lottery games such as Lotto, EuroMillions and Scratch Cards. Since the National Lottery was launched, over 3.6 billion euros has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation, Amenities, Health, Welfare, Arts, Culture, National Heritage and the Irish Language.
The National Lottery has an ongoing requirement for Market Research Services and is seeking to award a contract for such services. The appointed agency will be required to provide market research services across a portfolio of products that the National Lottery provides. These include (but are not limited to) Lotto & Lotto Plus, EuroMillions & Plus, Monday Millions & Plus, Millionaire Raffle, All or Nothing, Scratch Card games, TV Game Shows, Play Online, Beneficiaries, Sponsorships, Corporate and others as required. Market research activities associated with this contract include the following:
1. Monthly Omnibus Survey: surveying a sample representative of the population
2. Tracking Monitors in areas such as Advertising and Corporate Reputation (as required)
3. Focus Groups and Group Discussions (as required)
4. Depth Interviews (as required)
5. Ad-hoc Face to Face Interviews (as required)
6. Research studies to assist in our product development programme and enhancing our existing game portfolio (as required)
7. Retailer & in-store audits & research studies (as required)
8. Online research surveys (as required)
9. Website usability and functionality testing research to assist in the evolution of our website (www.lottery.ie) and Play Online channel (as required)
10. CATI Research services (as required)
11. Analysis of marketing data, business trends and the interpretations of societal dynamics (as required)
12. Proactive advice and consultancy on best practice market research activities
13. Other Research services (as required)
