Management and Operation of the Irish Government's Temporary Partial Credit Guarantee Scheme

The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation invites tenders for the management and operation of a Temporary Partial Credit Guarantee Scheme. The successful tenderer (โ€œthe Operating Bodyโ€) would be contractually responsible to the Department for undertaking claims settlement / monitoring / reporting / oversight and supervision functions of the Scheme.
The Operator will be contracted by the Department to act as its agent and provide the interface between the Department and the Lenders for the practical oversight, management and operation of the Scheme, including:
1. Delivery of transactional infrastructure and management of documentation,
2. The management of the collection of premiums,
3. The settlement of guarantee claims to participating lending institutions,
4. A data-gathering, interpretation/analysis and reporting role.
5. Lender Accreditation for participation in the Scheme.
Details of responsibilities involved for each of these items are set out in the attached Invitation to Tender below.
The Scheme is to be temporary in nature, operating initially for one year but with the potential for extension for up to two further years. The initial contract will be for three years.
