The interim solutions for each lot must be completed and ready for occupation by the mid July 2012. The detailed services to be provided will be set out in the tender documentation. No site specific information is available at this time. Before submitting an expression of interest, applicants should refer to the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire DoES-QC1 (Interim Accommodation Solutions Framework) attached to the eTenders advertisement, and satisfy themselves that they meet the minimum standards required. In the event of a tie for the last qualifying place, all applicants tying for that place will be included in the short-list. The Contracting Authority reserve the right, if it so wishes, to request any or all applicants to produce the necessary detailed evidence at pre-qualification stage prior to inclusion on the short list for the project. The successful applicant will be required to produce the necessary detailed evidence before appointment. To apply for inclusion on the short-list for the project the Applicant must (1) complete and sign the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire DoES-QC1 (Interim Accommodation Solutions Framework), and (2) send in the questionnaire with a stamped self-addressed A4 envelope to the address stated in the Contract Notice before the time and date specified. No other information should be provided. The onus rests with the applicant to ensure that the submission is received by the Contracting Authority. In cases of disputed delivery the only acceptable evidence of delivery is a registered letter or signed CA receipt for hand delivery (not Swift Post). Note: The envelope must be clearly marked with the name of the Tenderer, the name of the Contract, and the content for example "Tender of ABC Limited for xxx Services for XYZ...Projectโ€. The estimated total performance period is 24 months (i.e. 12 months to substantial completion and 12 months defects period) for lots 1 and 2. The award criteria will be issued with the invitation to tender. Applicants should note the limited timescale for delivery of these projects and the critical nature of the delivery dates. Applicants should note that they will be required to show detailed evidence, at award stage but prior to appointment that the personnel listed have the capacity to undertake the work within the time-scale stated. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to terminate the Tender competition process at any time. The Contracting Authority also reserves the right to procure the development by alternative means if it appears that the development can be thereby more advantageously procured. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. The funding agency, the Department of Education & Skills is subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. If a candidate considers that any of the information supplied in response to this notice is either commercially sensitive or confidential, this should be highlighted and reasons for its sensitivity given. The relevant material will, in response to a request under the Act, be examined in the light of exemptions provided for in the Act. All queries should be directed through the eTenders query facility.
