Shannon Heritage requests tenders for the lease of Mac's Pub situated at Bunratty Folk Park, Bunratty in the County of Clare.
Shannon Heritage is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shannon Development and has responsibility for the management and development of day visitor and evening entertainment products in the Shannon Region on a fully commercial basis.
Mac's Pub should be managed, maintained and presented in a manner consistent with the operation of Bunratty Folk Park which is a heritage attraction and must maintain an authentic feel of life in Ireland over a century ago.
Shannon Heritage was one of the first companies in Ireland to develop and run heritage attractions and Medieval Castle entertainments, and has since grown to become a market leader in the tourism industry both at home and internationally.
Shannon Heritage’s portfolio includes 6 day visitor sites and 4 evening entertainment products attracting 430 000 visitors from all over the world. This visitor mix includes tourists, families, senior citizens, incentive and corporate groups, social and community groups and school groups.
A public House (Mac's Pub) is included in the Folk Park at Bunratty. Situated on the main street of the recreated village it is an actual working public house with a seven day publican's on license.
