Laois Grouped Towns Sewerage Scheme Contract B Networks

The scheme provides for the collection and transfer of wastewater generated from the proposed and existing residential developments in Abbeyleix, Clonaslee, Durrow, Mountrath, Rathdowney and Stradbally. The proposed sewer systems, including pumping stations, will augment the existing sewer system, providing capacity for future development as envisaged in the current Development Plan for the above towns.
The Mechanical and Electrical Specialist element of the contract provides for the transfer of wastewater from four pumping stations, including the provision of telemetry, screening, controls, gauges, mixers, metres, valves, fittings, ancillary pipework etc. A collateral warranty shall be required for these works.
The Sewer Rehabilitation Works Specialist shall be required to rehabilitate 415 metres of sewerage network and clean a further 660 metres of sewerage network.
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified contractors.
