IP Networking equipment maintenance and support services
The University is seeking a technology partner for the supply of IP networking equipment maintenance and support services. The University wishes to enter into a contract for the supply of such services for a period of 3 years.
Trinity College maintains and operates a large complex IP network which spans the main campus in College Green and numerous off-site locations in the greater Dublin area. The Trinity College data network serves as the underpinning bearer service for all of the College’s IT services which serve a diverse range of academic, administrative, student, research and guest users on a 24/7 basis.
Including the off-site locations there are approximately 20 000 switched data points and almost 1 000 wireless access points in operation.
