Current Courts Service investments amount to approximately €1.1 billion, of which 98 % is invested in unitised funds. It is estimated that the assets managed under the capital preservation strategies will amount to between 300 000 000 EUR and 900 000 000 EUR. Assets managed under the income generation strategies are estimated to amount to between 50 000 000 EUR and 500 000 000 EUR. The number of cases requiring individual strategies and the related asset size is likely to be quite small.

Requests for qualification may be submitted by a single candidate or by a consortium. A consortium will not be required to convert into a specific legal form in order to submit a request for qualification but may be required to do so prior to award of the contract if the Courts Service considers it necessary to ensure that the contract is carried out to its satisfaction. The Courts Service also reserves the right to contact with each member of the consortium on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the consortium as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors, or on any other basis the Courts Service considers appropriate.
