Grounds maintenance services
As part of UCD’s continual commitment to develop, enhance and maintain high quality campus environments, it is intended to engage the services of a suitably qualified landscaping firm to carry out ongoing Grounds Maintenance activities on the campuses of the University.
The purpose of this procedure is to shortlist a number of suitably qualified landscaping professionals to take part in a subsequent Invitation To Tender (ITT), process.
It is envisaged that key landscaping activities to be included in the forthcoming tender process will relate to the maintenance of:
— Planted Areas including Shrub beds, Hedges, Trees, Planters etc,
— Hard Landscaped Areas including paved areas, car parks, roads and paths etc,
— Courtyards, Walled Gardens and Roof Gardens,
— The Amenity Path Network (Boundary Woodland Walk),
— Areas of Biodiversity/ Wildlife Habitats, including woodlands, lakes, watercourses etc,
— Maintenance Helpdesk Support.
