GMIT provision of Insurance Brokerage Services
Galway Mayo Institute of Technology
The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology is seeking to engage the services of an Insurance Broker during the period from 1.1.2012 until 31.12.2015. The successful tenderer will be expected to provide GMIT with a comprehensive range of Insurance services to include all aspects of its activities, from a brokerage service to full implementation of required cover and policies on GMIT’s behalf.
The tender for insurance is on a claims occurring basis. Where individual policy cover is being renewed on a claim occurring basis, in order to ensure no gap in cover, you must confirm that your policies cover retro-active claims to the date when our cover originally went to claims made basis, ensuring proper run off cover.
N.B. Where the proposed policy cover is less than what currently exists, this must be clearly stated. Tenderers may also recommend additional or improvements in cover.
This contract will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
