University College Dublin is issuing this suitability assessment questionnaire inviting expressions of interest as the first stage of a 2-stage process under the restricted procedure. The purpose of the first stage is to obtain information from applicants to determine their suitability on the basis of financial standing, technical competence and capability, and relevant experience to carry out any projects arising under the framework agreement. Please note this is not a tender document.
To register their interest, applicants are required to complete this suitability assessment questionnaire. The onus rests with the applicant to provide all details relevant to the services required. All applicants must provide the information required under the relevant headings, in the spaces provided, and in the format requested. Unless otherwise stated, attachments to this questionnaire are not permitted and will not be considered for the purposes of assessment.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the completed suitability assessment questionnaire. Appointment to the framework will be subject to a separate invitation to tender process (ITT). It is envisaged that the top scoring 8 to 10 applicants will be brought forward to the invitation to tender stage.

University College Dublin (UCD) proposes to establish a multi-operator framework agreement stricto sensu for project management services for the maintenance, refurbishment, development and enhancement works to existing and new construction related activities on the UCD campus, in accordance with the procedure described herein. UCD reserves the right to include other works of non academic building/heavily serviced buildings on this framework agreement. It is intended that up to a maximum of 6 project management service providers will form the framework panel for a period of up to 4 years and contracts may be awarded at any time during this framework period.The successful project management service providers appointed will be responsible for the management of refurbishment works (post planning predominantly) to completion inclusive of the occupational phase, along with the management of design team(s) and works contractor(s) which will be appointed separately.The establishment of the framework agreement will be on the basis of a competition for an initial contract comprising of the refurbishment of existing student residences, on the Belfield Campus, Dublin 4, IRELAND.Applicants should also note that a separate contract notice has been advertised on www.etenders.gov.ie (published 17.12.2010) for fully integrated design team services for projects as described in this document and awarded under this framework agreement.Please refer to documents attached to contract notice on www.etenders.gov.ie for full details.
