Expressions of Interest to Become Coillteโ€™s Regional Timber Supply Partners

Coillte

Coillte is interested in purchasing supplies of pulpwood from the private forestry sector. To this end we intend offering supply contracts to regional Timber Supply Partners who will co-ordinate the main elements of harvesting services including felling licence application, road grant application and road construction, creation of harvesting plan, completion of a supplier evaluation forms, timber harvesting and extraction of pulpwood to forest roadside.
Coillte will purchase pulpwood from its regional Timber Supply Partners at the forest roadside for a pre-determined price per cubic metre. Coillte will manage the haulage and logistics of all pulpwood purchased.
Expressions of Interest are now sought from potential Regional Timber Business Supply Partners capable of coordinating and providing harvesting services to the private forestry sector and supplying pulpwood at forest roadside.
It is our intention to set up a framework agreement for this service.
