Requirements.
— the kiosk must be designed to provide state-of-the-art accessibility by allowing the widest possible range of people to use it comfortably,
— the Kiosk machine has to adhere to FÁS Social Inclusion Policy and must be designed with social inclusion in mind, the display module must be wheelchair accessible,
— this applies in particular to all components with which users will interact – such as the touch screen, keyboard and printer,
— the supplier should be able to supply relevant references. We will evaluate these references and give preference to the kiosks of suppliers that accommodates widest range of users,
— the kiosk and all of its peripheral devices must be secure from unauthorized access, theft, damage and other misuse,
— the kiosk machines should be scratch resistant for unsupervised environments and vandal proof,
— the Kiosk machine should be PC-Based and must be suitable to house standalone PCs,
— the kiosks will be used to provide information on FÁS programmes on touch screen machines,
— the Kiosk Design should be space efficient.
