DCU Security Services Contract
Dublin City University
DCU invites expressions of interest from suitably competent firms for the award of a contract for Security Services for Dublin City University campus at Glasnevin, Dublin 9.
The services are required to supplement the in-house capacity of DCU. DCU currently directly employs approximately 21 full time equivalents.
These services will include the provision of: (i) Manned Guarding Services for DCU campus at Glasnevin including DCU subsidiary companies, Campus Residence etc. in addition to the separate sports facilities located at St. Clare’s (Glasnevin); and (ii) Alarm call out services.
The current service provider provides approximately 5 personnel for delivery of the service.
The estimated hours envisaged on an annual basis are: 11 500 hours. Additional hours may be required to meet the operational needs of DCU on a daily basis. Full details will be provided at tender stage.
