Cork County Council Framework Agreement for housing advisory services

Cork County Council intends to set up a Framework Agreement of service providers to carry out the following functions primarily in relation to its Housing function:
1. Identifying the works to be carried out on a house in order to bring the house up to a tenantable standard;
2. Creating a report detailing the works to be carried out on a house to bring the house up to a tenantable standard in a format to be set out by Cork County Council;
3. Certifying that works done on a house have been carried out in a proper manner;
4. Contracts may relate to specific disciplines (gas boiler maintenance/inspection, BER related works, plumbing, electrical or general building works) or may relate to a combination of these or other disciplines;
5. Running mini competitions and recommending the appointing of contractors from Framework Agreements in place or to be set up by Cork County Council;
6. Other low value engineering contracts may be advertised among members of the Framework Agreement;
Contracts to be awarded may include all or a combination of the above functions. Contracts may be for both county council and town council areas.
