There are approximately 1 600 staff on site at the Wood Quay Civic Offices and approximately 35 at the Palace Street offices. The Civic Offices catering service includes operation of a high quality coffee bar from 8:00 to 16:00, daily hospitality services which includes tea/coffee to meeting rooms, sandwich platters, lunches and other functions as required, vending and a self service staff restaurant operating the following services five days per week: โ breakfast 9:45โ11:15 (hot & cold range, plus morning pastries and snacks), โ lunch 12:15โ14:15 (soup, range of hot meals & snacks, grill bar, salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, โgrab & goโ snacks. A morning break service is required at Palace Street from 10:00 to 11:15 to include hot & cold beverages, scones, fruit, cakes, pastries, wrapped snacks and sandwiches. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, subject to annual review and agreement, with an option for Dublin City Council to extend the contract for a further 1 year subject to annual, periodic and other reviews.
