Ballygoran to Collinstown Watermain Scheme

This contract will provide for the construction of an 800mm diameter, approximately 5km long ductile iron pipe from Ballygoran Reservoir to Collinstown, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
The pipeline will be predominantly laid in road including the Ballygoran to Pike Bridge local road L5003 and on part of the R148 Maynooth to Leixlip road.
The construction of the trunk main will involve crossings under the Dublin-Sligo Railway line, the Royal Canal and the M4 motorway by Trenchless Technology Methods. The Contract also includes Mechanical and Electrical Works. The Mechanical and Electrical and Trenchless Technology Works will be carried out by appropriate Specialists.

Applicants for suitability must return two (2) copies of the completed Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and Appendices, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with: "Tender". Kildare. — candidates will be longlisted on the basis of information submitted, — applicants are advised that Kildare County Council is subject to the requirement of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997. If a Applicants considers that any of the information supplied with his submission is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for its sensitivity specified. In such a case, the relevant material will, in response to a request under the Act, be examined in light of the exemptions provided in the Act, — prior to appointment the successful Tenderer will be required to produce a current Tax Clearance Certificate or C2 Certificate from the Republic of Ireland Revenue Commissioners. Each proposed Specialist shall provide evidence from their Broker or Insurance Company confirming that Professional Indemnity insurance is obtainable and in place before commencement of the works, — before appointment, the successful Tenderer will be required to produce evidence from their Insurance Company in the form of policy confirming that the Tenderer has current Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance cover complying with the requirement(s) set out below. 1. The Applicant will be required to provide a reference from their bank.
2. The Applicant will be required to provide a statement, covering the 3 previous financial years including the overall turnover of the Applicant and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject matter of this notice.

4. The Applicant shall provide evidence in relation to the main works of certified turnover for the 3 previous financial years to include other areas of business. This evidence shall be in the form of audited financial statements (all figures in Euro), one for each year, together with the financial notes associated with these accounts. The Applicant must meet the minimum turnover requirements of 2 500 000,00 EUR. If the Applicant is a consortium, the combined total turnover for all members of a consortium must meet the minimum turnover requirements of 2 500 000,00 EUR. If only one member has the skills, resources and experience for the work, that member must have an average turnover that demonstrates financial capacity for the work.

5. - Each proposed Mechanical & Electrical Specialist and each Trenchless Technology Specialist shall also provide evidence of certified turnover (or an acceptable alternative to certified turnover) in relation to the Specialist Works for the 3 previous financial years. This evidence shall be in the form of audited financial statements (all figures in Euro), one for each year, together with the financial notes associated with these accounts. The Specialists shall also provide Overall Turnover to include other areas of business. The Specialist must meet the minimum requirement of 400 000,00 EUR in the case of Mechanical & Electrical Specialist and 500 000,00 in the case of Trenchless Technology Specialist.
