Dublin Airport Authority currently has Standard 1, Standard 2 and Standard 3 certified HBS (Hold Baggage Screening) EDS (Explosive Detection System) X-Ray equipment in service across its 4 Terminals at Cork, Dublin and Shannon Airports. As a result of EC Direction 185/2010 (EU 300 Regulatory framework of 2008) Standard 1 EDS will expire on 1.9.2012.
